Makeetah and I are back!!! As I wake up I shall update the blog and be in full swing by the weekend.
I the meantime Kaya is in need of a hoome - she is delightful, very smart, has a good basic training under her belt and gets along with everyone - I amnot sure about cats though. She came home with me last night and fitted right back into the pack as if she had never gone to Laura for a vacation.
Elizabeth will be leaving to fly to North Carolina on June 22.
This is not exactly a vacation! She will be driving back to California with Two Friesian horses, six dogs and two cats as she is helping her daughter move her household back home in CA. If you need to contact her or rescue please use the e-mail address: resqrij@yahoo.com or call Elizabeth's cell: 925-899-4612.
If you need a chuckle now and then, log on to a blog which will be set up to track the convoy driving along I-40. There are sure to be exciting times daily for the crew driving the zoo!

The following dogs are needing new homes:
Sox - brindle, mixed breed, ridged male, about 7 years of age. He has had an eye removed due to trauma and gets along with dogs and cats and people.
He is possibly a mix of RR and CBR but no one knows for sure - he is about 55 pounds. He is a really nice dog and is in a foster home but needs his permanent one soon.
He is so well mannered his foster home says they would keep him if they did not have four dogs of their own
Sassy is a 7 year old mixed breed girl who needs a new home - Sassy is a big girl who has been in rescue for a long time now and would love to have her own family once again. She is possibly a lab/RR mix and is in a kennel.
