Age: 8 yrs. | purebred Rhodesian Ridgeback

(from Fannie's current owner:) Fannie is an almost nine year old, spayed female purebred ridgeback. To the best of our knowledge, for the first year of her life, she was kept by her breeder with intentions of showing her. As her first year progressed, it became apparent that Fannie's hip placement was undesirable for the show ring. That is when a friend of a friend of ours got her. Fannie was with this woman from the time she was one year old until we got her at the age of almost seven and a half. Fannie is very affectionate and obedient. She will come when you call her even if she is in mid-chase. However, she is not a high energy dog. While she enjoys romping with our other dogs, she loves to curl up next to you for a belly rub or a nap near your feet. Unfortunately, this lovely girl is panic stricken when our young children are around. She has never shown any aggression toward either of them but her anxiety keeps her under my bed most of the time. She deserves a household in which she can relax and get the attention she deserves.
