Age: 3 yrs. | purebred Rhodesian Ridgeback

Lance is a neutered male who gets along very well with all other dogs. He likes women but is very afraid of men. We are looking for a home for lance where he will have an understanding woman who will not try to "reprogram" this dog to accept men. He will not allow a man to pet him or touch him once he is in a home—he does not "do" anything—he simply runs away. He does not growl, nor has he bitten anyone—he is just plain and simply afraid to let men near him when he is in a house. When Lance is outside and on a leash he may let a man pet him but for the most part this dog is a happy, fun dog when men are not close. What a tall order for a home for this dog! After being in a foster home for a year, Lance has now been in Rescue for the past two weeks. He is doing really well, except he will not take a cookie from my father nor from my son. If you are able to help this dog by giving him a home where there will be minimal to no contact with men, please contact us.
