Themba - was born in November 2000. She is a spayed, pure bred, female who is sweet, loving and gentle. Themba is quite overweight at present. She seems to be fine with cats, likes other dogs and is friendly to people. She needs a permanent or foster home by the end of April!

 Sassy  - 6 years - Mixed Breed

Sassy needs her own home - she would do well with some training. She is a big boisterous girl who is very happy all the time - she must be mixed with Labrador! She is a sweet dog.

KAYA - 3-YEAR OLD PURE BRED

Kaya was born deaf but she does very well with hand signals. She gets along well with children and other dogs. She is nicely trained and has the sweetest personality. Kaya walks well on a leash, loves the beach, is crate trained and is a delight.

  SOX

Sox - 7 years - Mixed breed

Sox  is a neutered brindle male who weighs about 60 pounds. We do not know what he is mixed with - but we think he could be a mix of Chesapeake Bay Retriever and Ridgeback with perhaps something else thrown in his ancestry -  he has an awesome ridge. His coat is now beautiful and a rich red brindle - he is very shiny! He is great with other dogs and cats - He has had his right eye removed due to trauma in his past. He is not very comfortable in a vehicle and it seems that he gets stressed as he does not know where he is going when in a car. He has come to stay with me a few times and does better each time when traveling - he is also crate trained and likes his crate. He will make a wonderful companion. He walks politely, is very polite in the house and is quite the gentleman.
